1 whole chicken cut into pieces

1 jar (about 300 g) of prepared mole sauce (or mole paste)

2 cups chicken broth

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, crushed

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Preparation

Heat the oil in a large pot. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until translucent.

Add the chicken pieces and lightly brown on all sides.

Add the chicken broth, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
