  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until translucent.

  2. Add the chicken pieces and lightly brown on all sides.

  3. Stir in the mole sauce and mix with the chicken.

  4. Add the chicken broth, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

  5. Adjust salt to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds, typically accompanied by white rice and tortillas.
