What is the B.B.R.R.R. method?
The "B.B.R.R.R." chicken breast method is inspired by American food blogger Ali Martin (Gimme Some Oven). It combines five key steps, easy to remember thanks to a mnemonic:

B → Brine: quickly brine the chicken to make it juicy

B → Brush: brush with oil or butter for extra flavor

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

500 ml water

30 g salt

1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for brine)

1 tablespoon olive oil or 20 g melted butter

Freshly ground pepper

Herbs of choice: thyme, rosemary, paprika…
Preparation Steps
Brine – Quick brining

Dissolve the salt (and sugar) in the water.

Submerge the chicken breasts in the brine for 15 to 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Brush – Pincelado

Drain the chicken and pat dry with paper towels.

Brush with olive oil or melted butter, season with pepper and herbs.
Roast – Baking

Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

Place the breasts on a baking tray or dish.

Cook 20–25 minutes depending on thickness, until internal temperature reaches 74 °C.
Rest – Resting

Remove the chicken from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Relish – Serving

Serve as is or with roasted vegetables, salad, or rice.
Chef’s tip:
For extra flavor, add your favorite herbs to the brine or brush the chicken with a butter and garlic mixture.
